2022 Honda Pilot Body Speculation
The Honda Pilot debuted in 2002 and received its most recent major overhaul in 2019. In 2020, the Pilot received some trim updates and some safety modifications. Based on the very recent major overhaul and some fine tuning that took place in 2020, we can speculate that the 2022 Honda Pilot will have the same body as the most recent 2020 model pictured below.
2022 Honda Pilot Engine Speculation
We speculate that the 2022 Honda Pilot will stay with the 3.5 liter V6 engine that was used in the 2019 and 2020 models. The engine makes 280 horsepower and 262 lb/ft of torque. It works out to be a good balance between performance and fuel economy, getting up to 20 miles per gallon in the city and up to 27 miles per gallon on the highway – among the highest for vehicles offering a third row seat option.
