2013 Audi S3 Sportback is the another hatchback lineup that has already been sold starting in February 2013. The appendage “sportback” behind the S3 name, is attached there is by no means any reason. This five-door hatchback integrates the combination of the functionality of hatchbacks and elegance of sedans, making this car is such a versatile vehicle, both for the urban driving and special needs. The 2013 Audi S3 Sportback was unveiled bone year ago, at the 2012 Paris Auto Show, complemented the standard A3 lineup.
Thanks to the MQB construction making this car is very light, 198 lbs lighter than the standard A3 – strengthening its concept as a sporty hatchback. Compared to its “sportless” model, the design of 2013 Audi S3 Sportback doesn’t reflect many changes. At first glance, it still largely continues the S3 body design. On the front end, a pair of wide, black perforated air inlets add the masculinity of the Sportback.
On the inside, the Audi doesn’t change its formula of Audi’s signature elegance in the interior part of the 2013 Audi S3 Sportback. Eventhough it’s a hatchback, five-door one, the two front seats are a pair of sports seats, with a tall headrest. The ones that are normally fitted in the sporty cars. Uniquely, the interior design of the Sportback is available in three trims: Attraction, Ambition, and Ambiente. In general, the three trims are differentiated by the coloring treatment of the cabin.
Under the bonnet, the sportiness continues. The 2013 Audi S3 Sportback has two engine options; 150hp 2.0-liter TDi with the speed test of 0-mph in 7.4 seconds and 1.2 TFSi engine generating 105 hp that can reach 60 mph in 10.7 seconds.
The 2013 Audi S3 Sportback’s pricetag is written around $29,000. Now, it has already been sold worldwide.
