
2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato, A model built, the great success and put into production. Aston Martin has announced the construction of the road version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, developed in collaboration with the Milan-based designer, who will make his debut at the Geneva Motor Show, which opens from 8 to 18 March 2012. The news will delight the many fans who were able to admire the concept car produced by the automaker. A production of the highest quality, craftsmanship and high technology, limited to 150 pieces for a price of around 400 thousand euro.
The V12 Zagato appeared to the public at the Concours d’Elegance Villa d’Este in 2011 and here he has won the title of Design Award. The success was such that now the automaker has decided to put it into production.
The car was set up in 2010 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of another great success, Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato, a collector’s item made in duplicate and which for years has been the dream of collectors, celebrated by the “Z”.
Since its first appearance at the Villa d’Este and his subsequent participation in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, the V12 Zagato has attracted the attention of fans just enough to convince the automaker to put it into production.
Like all Aston Martin models also the “new” house is a little gem, born from the inspiration of the V12 Vantage.
Following the same process of construction of the One-77 the car comes from the combination of carbon fiber and aluminum patterned according to the project designer Zagato strictly hand. Hood, roof and doors are double wave with handcrafted aluminum, while bumpers, luggage and other elements are made of carbon.
Four colors available: Sparkle Silver, Laurel Green, Dawn Blue and Red Devil. All for a limited production run of 150 copies in September with a price of around 400 thousand euro.
